SARAH PAULSON AND HOLLAND TAYLOR

The age-old adage that age is just a number cannot be more true for anyone than this couple. Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor, despite their age difference, have now been together for five years. Indeed, Paulson said they met a decade before they started their relationship, and shared that she was immediately smitten by Taylor’s beauty, describing her as “the most exquisitely beautiful woman” she has ever seen.

She also said, “I think there’s a greater appreciation of time and what you have together and what’s important, and it can make the little things seem very small.” No wonder Paulson decidedly slid into Taylor’s DMs one day in 2015, almost a decade after their initial encounter, and made the necessary steps to pursue a relationship. To their credit, the age difference didn’t present a challenge to their relationship at all.

NEIL PATRICK HARRIS AND DAVID BURTKA

Anyone who follows these two on Instagram will agree that they are one of the cutest couples in Hollywood. Their theatrics on social media are simply hilarious, and they don’t infrequently get the kiddos involved in it, too, which adds another layer of allure to their already inspiring bond. The two are, to a huge degree, inseparable. They proposed to each other in 2006 but kept the whole thing under the radar until the Marriage Equality Bill that legalized same-sex marriage was passed in 2011.

They tied the knot in 2014, and have turned into the epitome of what the hashtag “Relationship goals” is all about. Harris once told Out magazine about meeting Burtka in 2004, “I just stammered around him. I couldn’t take my eyes off him.” Harris and Burtka both proposed to each other at different times. Burtka first proposed to Harris on the street corner where they first met, Harris told Out. A year later, on Valentine’s Day, Burtka proposed to Harris in Santa Monica, he told Out in 2012.

SAMIRA WILEY AND LAUREN MORELLI

It certainly looks like Netflix’s hit series Orange is the New Black didn’t just create fictional relationships between its characters, it created real ones between cast members, too. And Samira Wiley and Lauren Morelli is evidence of the show’s love-creating powers. Indeed, they tied the knot in 2018, almost four years after meeting on set. Wiley shared for an interview that she found herself already in love with Morelli’s mind prior to even meeting the scriptwriter.

Interestingly enough, Morelli apparently belatedly realized she was a lesbian only after working on the OITNB set, and says that the realization was, to a huge degree, extremely liberating. In an interview, Once Wiley said: “I was really attracted to Lauren’s mind first before I met Lauren the person. I got her script and I was like: ‘This person’s really talented, I can’t wait to meet this person’.”

LILY TOMLIN AND JANE WAGNER

Lily Tomlin and Jane Wagner, to their credit, have been together for so long that they absolutely demolish the Hollywood stereotype about celebrities being a monogamously-challenged bunch. Apparently, they immediately clicked when they first met and became a couple right away. Amazing, we know! What’s even more amazing is the fact that they’ve been together since 1971, which is longer than many people have been alive! When the couple was asked about the secret to their long-lasting relationship, their response was simple: mutual “respect and admiration.”

They said they have a lot of differences, but it’s those two concepts that have kept them together for so long. Tomlin is an American actress, writer, comedian, singer, and producer. Jane Wagner is well known as Lily Tomlin’s comedy writer, collaborator. She is an American writer, director, and producer. She also told out to magazine “Instead of working for the survival of the fittest, we should be working for the survival of the wittiest – then we can all die laughing.”

ZACHARY QUINTO AND MILES MCMILLAN

Actor and film producer Zachary Quinto came out as gay in 2011, saying he felt as though he had a moral obligation to come out for the sake of “complete equality.” He became a devoted gay rights advocate ever since and gave his support to various organizations that furthered the cause of LGBT rights. Quinto started a relationship with model Miles McMillan sometime in 2013, and they were described by Vogue Magazine as one of the “power couples” to look out for.

Unfortunately, the couple called it quits 6 years later. Zachary Quinto and Miles McMillan split up after living together for nearly six years and have not posted important photos of them on social media platforms in recent times. They also celebrated their 5th anniversary together in June this year. But, to their credit, they were able to split amicably and remain friends to this day.

JODIE FOSTER AND ALEXANDRA HEDISON

Actress, director, and producer, Jodie Foster, who’s become an icon in Hollywood on account of the many memorable roles she’s portrayed in the film, happily found the right woman in the form of Alexander Hedison, who’s a photographer and actress. Interestingly enough, Hedison used to date another famous personality, Ellen Degeneres, prior to her relationship with Foster. They dated for four years (Hedison and Degeneres), but unceremoniously separated following reports that Degeneres was now dating Portia De Rossi.

In any case, Foster and Hedison seem to want to keep their relationship away from the paparazzi, but from what we hear—and to their credit—their love seems to be playing out really well. Both of them are very concerned about their privacy, and when they are with someone they don’t know, they will be taciturn. But when they are together, it seems that there are only two of them in this world. It is a good phenomenon that two people treat love and work enthusiastically and seriously.

GEORGE TAKEI AND BRAD ALTMAN

George Takei joined the same-sex club in 1980 and met athlete BRAD ALTMAN. BRAD ALTMAN invited George Takei to go to marathon training together. Since then, they have completed the 5K and 10K marathon together. George Takei, who is known by Trekkies all over the world as Mr. Sulu, a fictional character in the Star Trek franchise, has been married to Brad Altman since 2008. And while that may not seem like such a long time (it actually is by Hollywood standards), the fact is that they’ve been together for much longer.

How long, you ask? Well, to their credit, it’s been 35 years long! Takei and Altman were the first same-sex couple to apply for a marriage license in the West Hollywood area, and for all practical purposes, their relationship is showing no sign of slowing down. George Takei said the secret to maintaining a relationship between them is they love being able to share their lives and their livelihood.

LANCE BASS AND MICHAEL TURCHIN

Lance Bass is probably someone most won’t have any trouble recognizing. He used to be a member of NSYNC, after all, only one of the most popular boy bands of the late 90s. Well, to his credit, he seems to have the relationship thing down to a tee, with husband Michael Turchin whom he first met at a party in Palm Springs. They reportedly clicked immediately, despite that, according to Bass, Turchin successfully hid his attraction at the beginning.

Well, now the two are said to be incomplete marital bliss, as far as their social media accounts are concerned. Lance bass once said that in all his past relationships, no one can fully integrate into his life, but Michael Turchin can understand his lifestyle completely and fits his life perfectly. It is amazing and what he indeed needs. Surprisingly, this feeling is mutual, and Michael Turchin has the same idea.

SIR ELTON JOHN AND DAVID FURNISH

Twenty-seven years after the first meeting, 73-year-old Sir Elton John and 57-year-old David Furnish are still happily together. They met each other at a dinner with a friend and fell in love at first sight. Elton “The Rocket Man” John and David Furnish are among the most popular LGBT couples in history. We think this has largely to do with the fact that Elton John is, to a huge degree, one of the most popular musicians in history, but we digress.

In any case, John and Furnish have been together for more than 25 years, and their relationship, at least as far as we can tell, seems to have survived without a hitch. Actually, “survive” is the wrong word—the word we’re looking for is “flourish.” John said that when they met, he was “attracted to Dave immediately.” And more than 25 years on, he seems to be “attracted to Dave” still.

TOM DALEY AND DUSTIN LANCE BLACK

One is an Olympic medalist, the other is an award-winning screenwriter. Apparently, Daley (the Olympic medalist) made the first move, so to speak. And we guess that it is to his credit that he mustered the courage to do so despite being uncertain at the time about whether Dustin was even gay. It was mightily aggressive of him, to be sure, but it worked out! Well, we suppose he is sure now (that Dustin is gay, that is).

Happily, for the two of them, everything worked out smoothly—”immediately,” as Daley described. And despite their 20-year age difference, the relationship of this award-winning couple seems to have gone well so far without any hitches. Tom said of meeting Dustin: “I’d never felt the feeling of love, it happened so quickly, I was completely overwhelmed by it to the point I can’t get him out of my head all the time.”

ELLEN DEGENERES AND PORTIA DE ROSSI

This is one couple who is certainly used to the limelight. Ellen Degeneres, after all, is one of the most successful personalities in television history, just with the success of her talk show alone, The Ellen Degeneres Show. Well, I guess Ellen proved that great success doesn’t preclude a great relationship, because her long time relationship with Portia De Rossi can hardly be described by anything less than the word great. The decades-long relationship between these two beautiful people is simply inspiring.

Ellen even admitted for an interview that the first time she laid eyes on De Rossi, it was like being struck with electricity—she found herself immediately under De Rossi’s spell! Today, we have taken a big step towards our ideals. All of us are created equal without exception, and each of us has the inalienable right to pursue our own happiness,” Motivational Speaker Wayne Dyer hosted the ceremony according to DeGeneres’ Instagram post.

JESSE TYLER FERGUSON AND JUSTIN MIKITA

Jesse Ferguson and Justin Mikita seem to be infinitely enamored of each other—just check out their social media accounts, particularly Instagram, where they are inseparable! The two married in 2013, and so far they seem to be having the time of their lives. Ferguson, as everyone knows, played a married lawyer in the sitcom Modern Family. And his character was the exact opposite of his fictional husband, which led to many hilarious disagreements.

We hope that Ferguson’s real-life relationship, however, is only similar to his character’s fictional relationship when it comes to the good parts. The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Jesse Tyler Ferguson and husband Justin Mikita welcomed their first child, the son of Beckett Mercer. After two years of dating, Ferguson became engaged to the 34-year-old lawyer Mikita in 2012 and married in 2013. The couple often share pictures of each other on social media accounts but have not mentioned the baby yet.

MEGAN RAPINOE AND SUE BIRD

They aren’t just one of the cutest celebrity LGBT couples, they also happen to be among the most athletic. Rapinoe, after all, is a professional soccer player, and is said to be one of the best in the world. Sue Bird, on the other hand, is a professional basketball player, who plays for the WNBA’s Seattle Storm. Which makes us curious about what these two beautiful people talk about at the dinner table—basketball or football? Or maybe they talk about the 5 Olympic gold medals between them?

In any case, this relationship is another example of the degree to which sliding into someone’s DMs can work, because that’s what Rapinoe did. The couple announced their engagement on Bird’s Instagram on Friday night. “It’s happening when it’s happening because that’s what feels right,” Bird told the outlet.”So even though I understand there are people who think I should have done it sooner, it wasn’t right for me at the time. I have to be true to that. It’s my journey.”

KENDRELL BOWMAN AND ANTHONY WAYNE

In another example of the power of the internet, and how it can bring the most unlikely of individuals together, Kendrell Bowman and Anthony Wayne, who, you guessed it: met online, is another proud and loud LGBT couple who are living life to the fullest through the power of true love. They teamed up and created the Off-Broadway show: Mighty Real: A Fabulous Sylvester Musical.

And, to their credit, it was a huge success, which of course proves that business and pleasure do mix and that two people in love can work together to make money, without any hitch. Kendrell Bowman once said that the key to balancing everything is to stay focused on what they are doing now. What they see between themselves is love, passion, and talent. Although this is a business, we must always keep on communicating and be the best teammates to each other.

ADAM LAMBERT AND SAULI KOSKINEN

Unfortunately, singer, songwriter, and actor, Adam Lambert, has split with longtime boyfriend Sauli Koskinen, who’s a television host and reporter. We thought they were both going to stay together forever, as cheesy as that might sound. Their relationship did last for three years, however, which is longer than most marriages in Hollywood, so yeah, we’re giving them credit for that, at least. Happily, both made it clear to the media that they’ll be remaining friends despite the less than amicable split they went through that found both of them getting arrested outside a bar in Helsinki.

Adam Mitchel Lambert is an American singer and actor. Sauli Koskinen is a Finnish TV presenter and entertainment reporter. The acquaintance of them was accidental, and the separation between them was peaceful. Adam Lambert once said to the media, “Sauli and I are still very good friends. Although it is a cliché, it is beyond doubt.”

CHELY WRIGHT AND LAUREN BLITZER

Chely Wright is an American country music singer and gay rights activist. Her debut album was released in 1994. As of May 2010, Wright’s first eight albums have sold more than 1 million copies in the United States. Country music singer Chely Wright was hailed for being one of the first country musicians to come out of the closet in a bid to create awareness for LGBT causes.

And following her revelation—and autobiography, which was completed in 2010—Wright entered into a relationship with LGBT rights advocate Lauren Blitzer. They married in 2011 and now live in New York with their identical twin boys. The singer was asked to describe her relationship, and her response was that it is, to a huge degree, “magical.” And, upon seeing these two together, we can’t agree more!

KATE MCKINNON AND JACKIE ABBOTT

Kate McKinnon is an American actress and comedian. More well-known works such as the TV series “Comrade Funny Skit Show”and “Saturday Night Live”. Kate Mckinnon is, to her credit, one of the funniest comedians today. She holds the distinction of being the longest-serving female cast member of Saturday Night Live. Her impression of Justin Bieber and Ellen Degeneres is both astonishing and hilarious. Sometimes not in that order.

Apparently, however, her girlfriend Jackie Abbott is just as clownish. And we mean that quite literally, since Abbott, an actress, also trained in “commedia” for years, which is a form of acting where performers are dressed as clowns to do theatre work. Unfortunately for us, these two are very private about their lives, but from what we’ve seen about them, they look incredibly happy together.

TIG NOTARO AND STEPHANIE ALLYNNE

Tig Notaro is famous for boring comedy. Her outstanding album live broadcast was nominated in the 2014 Grammy Awards for Best Comedy Album at the 56th Grammy Awards. Tig Notaro, a stand-up comedian and actress, has reportedly been happily married to fellow actress and writer Stephanie Allynne since 2015. According to the two, they met on the set of In a World, the film written and produced by Lake Bell.

Their first meeting was filled with something that can only be described like electricity—as though they immediately felt an attraction to each other. And they have remained inseparable ever since. They welcomed twin boys via surrogate in 2016, and if their Instagram accounts are any indication, the pair, along with their twins, seem to be chugging along through life just fine as happy as any family can be.

SARA GILBERT AND LINDA PERRY

Sara Gilbert, an American actor, is known for playing in the sitcom “Rosanne Family Life”.Gilbert came out in 2010 and admitted that he was a lesbian. In 2001, she started a relationship with TV producer Allison Adler. Sadly, this pair isn’t together anymore after 6 years of inspiring everyone to believe that age is just a number—they had a 10-year age difference between them, after all.

Sarah Gilbert will be known to many as the actress who played Darlene Conner on the hit television sitcom Roseanne, while Linda Perry was the lead-singer of the once famous rock band 4 Non Blondes. They got married in 2014 and share a 5-year-old son. Well, to their credit, they did last longer than most couples in Hollywood. The unfortunate thing was that their separation was less than amicable.

MELISSA ETHERIDGE AND LINDA WALLEM

In January 1993, she disclosed her lesbian identity. Since then, she has become a social activist actively participating in the gay rights movement. Melissa Etheridge and Linda Wallem say best friends often become romantically entangled with each other and produce the best relationships. Whoever said that has clearly disregarded the preponderance of evidence that argues for the claim’s anti-thesis.

But, sure, sometimes best friends can be excellent romantic partners, and if one wanted a good example of this, one need only turn to this pair, who’ve been best friends for so long prior to falling in love with each other. It was, so Etheridge claims, “totally a surprise” that she found herself falling head-over-heels for Wallem. They tied the knot in 2014, and, to their credit, have been living in marital bliss ever since.

COLTON HAYNES AND JEFF LEATHAM

Colton Haynes is an American actor, singer and model. He is well known as Roy in the series “Young Wolf”. Haines revealed that he was gay when he was 14.Now, we would never suggest stalking the object of your desire—just to be clear. But, yeah, apparently stalking does work on occasion. At least, according to Colton Haynes, who admittedly stalked Jeff Leatham after learning they were being set up by a mutual friend.

Happily, Leatham was, to a huge degree, interested in him too. Because imagine if he wasn’t, and imagine how, weirded-out he would be after learning about the stalking admission. The two tied the knot after four years of dating, and divorced after two years of marriage. We’re sad about their relationship not lasting long, but will admit that it was cute while it lasted.

RAVEN-SYMONE PEARMAN AND AZMARIE LIVINGSTON

Raven-Symoné maintained a relationship with actress AzMarie Livingston from 2012 to 2015. In June 2020, she married Miranda Maday, a social media manager. These two 90s kids were being cheered on by a whole generation. Raven-Symone Pearman, of course, will be known to many who belong to the aforementioned generation as the Disney Channel superstar who starred in the hit show That’s so Raven.

In an old interview with Oprah, she came out as bi-sexual, and bragged about her new relationship with fellow actress Azmarie Livingston. And since some of us were raised in the 90s, we so wanted their relationship to succeed. However, it did not; they separated after 3 years, and some of us are still somewhat damaged by it. Well, to their credit, they seem to have remained good friends after that rather abrupt split.

CARA DELEVINGNE AND ASHLEY BENSON

She started dating with the actress Ashley Benson in March 2018. Delevingne was interviewed in the July issue of Vogue in 2015, confirming her love affair with Anne Clark, and revealed that she is bisexual.Although Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson have now reportedly gone their separate ways, we are still including them in this round-up because of how cute they were together.

And also, we were really hoping they would last. Alas, it did not, despite Delevingne describing their love as “sacred” at one point. What happened to them, you ask? We’re not sure too, but Delevingne mentioned that she didn’t infrequently push people away out of fear and lack of trust. Maybe, to some degree, that’s what she did to Benson, who knows? Whatever the case may be, we hope they remained friends!

KRISTEN STEWART AND STELLA MAXWELL

On February 4, 2017, Christine attended “Saturday Night Live”. She described herself as “very gay”.It’s been a rollercoaster ride for these two. And we mean that quite literally. Wait, no, we can’t mean it literally since it was an analogy to how their relationship has been so far. So, yeah, allow us to rephrase that: we mean that quite metaphorically.

Well, that didn’t sound right either—nobody says that. In any case, you know what we mean! They were seen in 2017, looking like they were a pair. Then they were reported to have split in 2018, but were spotted together again after their reported splitting. What on earth? The degree to which they’ve managed to confuse everyone is astounding, is all we can say. But hey, who cares, they look awesome together!

MILEY CYRUS AND KAITLYNN CARTER

Miley Ray Cyrus, born Destiny Hope Cyrus, is an American singer, songwriter and actor. Miley Cyrus and Kaitlynn Carter had an interesting relationship while it lasted. It was, to some degree, a short-lived fling. To be honest, we’re not even sure what it was about, given Miley has only ever dated men—but hey, that’s Hollywood for you. It just seemed like one big experiment for Miley.

First, they both separate from their husbands. Then they get photographed kissing each other. Then they travel around the world—mostly in yachts—and hold hands at a VMA party. Then they flirt over at Instagram, and wear the same clothes out in public. And, before you know it, a “source” for People Magazine suddenly announces they’ve split. We’re scratching our heads about it too.

NICO TORTORELLA AND BETHANY C. MEYERS

Tortorella married Meyers in Manhattan on March 9, 2018.Paul’s Chapel. Tortorella announced that they identified gender fluidity in their video collaboration with drag queen Trinity The Tuck in the same year. Tortorella uses their pronouns.”Queer polyamorous” couple, Nico Tortorella and Bethany Meyers, have reportedly been married for 13 years. That is an era in Hollywood standards.

But this couple has a particularly unique set-up when it comes to their love life. Tortorella says he’s sexually fluid, while Meyers describes herself as gay, which makes what goes on in the bedroom, how shall we say, pretty convoluted. Saying they are a couple that engages in less than conventional practices in-and-around the bedroom will be the understatement of the century. But hey, to their credit, they’ve managed to keep their relationship healthy and stable.

RUPAUL AND GEORGES LEBAR

RuPaul Andel Charles, is an American actor, drag queen, TV star, and singer-songwriter. Since 2009, he has produced and hosted “RuPaul’s Drag Queen Show”.Rupaul, who gained worldwide recognition for, well, being himself, is definitely someone who flourishes under the limelight. Luckily for Rupaul, his partner-in-life, Georges Lebar, is all too happy to stick to the sidelines while he shines.

The couple met at a New York club way back in 1994, and they’ve been together ever since. That’s like 26 years ago—a long time for Hollywood standards. What’s the secret to their long relationship? Well, before we say it, we have to first say that it might not work for all, but it has, to a huge degree, worked for them. And it is that they have an open relationship.

CHEYENNE JACKSON AND JASON LANDAU

In October 2013, Jackson announced that he would date actor Jason Landau on his Instagram account. They announced their engagement in February 2014 and married in Encino, California in September 2014. Cheyenne Jackson, of American Horror Story fame, and actor Jason Landau have been married since 2014. And, if their social media accounts are any indication, they seem to be doing great!

In fact they’ve been swooning over each other way back in 2013, following their announcement that they were dating. Well, now they are now proud fathers to twins, a boy and a girl. When Jackson was asked how his life was going so far, he was quick to say that it’s been tiring because of the kids, but that Jason has also been flooring him with his dedication. He also said that he wouldn’t have it any other way.

GARY JANETTI AND BRAD GORESKI

Gary Janetti is an American writer and producer. He has written Family Guy, and Will and Grace are executive producers. He recently created the sitcom “Vicious” for British television. You may not be familiar with Brad Goreski, but you’ll certainly be familiar with all the stars he’s styled behind the camera. Stars like Jessica Alba, Kaley Cuoco, and many more.Indeed, Goreski is, to his credit, a very reputable Hollywood stylist who’s worked with the biggest names in the industry.

Gary Janetti, on the other hand, is a television producer, who, like Goreski, works behind the scenes, and has worked behind the scenes for shows like Will and Grace, Family Guy, and a lot more else. So they are denizens of Hollywood whose lifestyles match each other perfectly—indeed, it’s a match made in LGBT heaven!

LUKE EVANS AND VICTOR TURPIN

In an interview Luke Evans expressed his sexuality, “Everyone knows that I am gay, and I have never tried to hide it.” But as his popularity increased, he was less direct. Answer questions in this regard. Luke Evans is one celebrity who’s kept his sexuality well-hidden for a good part of his career.

But he did eventually come out as gay, and it was glorious to see, because for some he simply confirmed what many have already been thinking and whispering to each other in the shadows. And, although he doesn’t really do interviews about his love life since he is the kind of person who wants a huge degree of privacy, his Instagram doesn’t leave his romantic involvement to actor Victor Turpin an open question. And we feel nothing but happiness for the two!

RYAN MURPHY AND DAVID MILLER

Murphy is a gay who has come out. He grew up in a Catholic family and still goes to church. On June 17, 2011, Murphy announced that he had been engaged to a male partner he had known for 15 years. Although Ryan Murphy is one of the creators of the highly successful horror anthology, American Horror Story, his love life is definitely nothing like a horror film since it’s closer to being the exact opposite.

Meeting David Miller, for all intents and purposes, turned out to be a fairy tale for Murphy. They tied the knot in 2012, and five months later they had a child, Logan Phineas. By 2014, they had a second child, and became a family of four! Ford, their second child, unfortunately got diagnosed with cancer, but to his credit made a remarkably recovery following surgery.

ALAN CUMMING AND GRANT SHAFFER

Cumming is a bisexual who has come out. In 2005, Cumming began dating illustrator Grant Shaffer, and then married in New York in 2012. You know two people love each other more than is typical if they tie the knot twice! That’s exactly what this beautiful couple did. After dating for two years, Alan Cummings and Grant Shaffer married in New York in 2012., in the presence of such luminaries as Ian Mckellen and Geri Haliwell.

Interestingly, though, they decided to marry again 5 years later in New York, this time in the presence of their family and friends. They have an adorable dog named Honey, and divide their time between New York and London. Also, if their social media accounts reflect objective reality to some degree of accuracy, then they seem to be in perfect marital bliss!

You’ve Reached The End
